During his time at The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, Hoong Sheng Teoh held various leadership positions. He served as the President of the University of Nottingham Badminton Club from 2016 to 2017 and was the Event Officer for the same club from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, he was the Communication Officer of the IMECHE Student Chapter from 2016 to 2017 and also held the position of Event Officer from 2015 to 2016.
Educational Background
Hoong Sheng Teoh has a solid educational foundation in engineering. He earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, completing his studies from 2015 to 2019. He also completed a Foundation degree in Engineering from the same institution from 2014 to 2015. Earlier, he attended Jitsin High School, where he achieved SPM 10As from 2009 to 2013.
Project Contributions
In his role at Aker Solutions, Hoong Sheng Teoh has contributed to several key projects. He delivered general assembly drawings for the CNOOC Lufeng 17-2 gas field project tendering and provided technical documents and drawings for the BP Palas-Astraea-Juno project tendering. Moreover, he conducted analysis on the Total Moho Infill project and worked on engineering documents for the ROV operated Hybrid Penetrator and Christmas Tree. He also created procedures for factory acceptance tests and assemblies, and managed procurement packages for the MERO3 FPSO project.
