Serial entrepreneur, all-round product guy and hands-on leader. I've founded and operated multiple startups that have reached a liquidity event through an IPO or acquisition. Alumnus of IIT-Kanpur (CS) & Stanford (Ph.D. in CS) and received an Academy Award for Technical Achievement in 2001. Alignable (current business), is the definitive hyperlocal and social network for SMBs. Well funded and hiring aggressively in Boston. I’ve been on the leadership team at both public companies and startups at every stage, across a number of domain areas. Fields I’ve worked in at significant depth prior to Alignable: Enterprise Software, Computer Graphics, Retention marketing for high ASP products, RFID, IOT, CAD, Manufacturing, Metrology, Orthodontics, EAS/Security. I enjoy disruptive innovation and have taught a course at MIT on the subject, and also consult/advise at all stages of growth. I'm passionate about access to quality education for under-privileged (and really all) children.
