Rachel Price holds the position of Aerospace Engineer III at Blue Origin in the Greater Seattle Area. Since joining Blue Origin in 2016, she has been involved in a variety of engineering projects. She has completed three four-month rotations across different business units and functions, gaining experience in New Glenn Natural Environments, Loads, and Dynamics, Vibroacoustics analysis, BE-4 Thrust Chamber Assembly, Manufacturing and Design, and New Glenn Flight Sciences, Aerothermal analysis. Currently, she is part of the New Glenn System Analysis Thermal/Fluids Team, focusing on external aeroheating and plume heating environments modeling and generation.
Previous Experience
Before joining Blue Origin, Rachel Price accumulated diverse experience in the aerospace industry through various internships and research positions. She worked as an Engineering Intern in Advanced Concepts at Boeing for two months in 2015 in Greater Los Angeles Area. In 2014, she was a Research Assistant at NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland/Akron, Ohio Area for two months. Rachel also served as a Research Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York from 2013 to 2014 for eight months.
Education and Degrees
Rachel Price has a robust educational background in engineering and management. She earned a Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London, where she studied from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University - Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, studying there from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, she attended the Summer Institute of General Management at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2013. Rachel also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Occidental College, where she studied from 2010 to 2013.

Rachel Price's academic journey began at Newport High School, where she studied from 2006 to 2010. Her early education laid the foundation for her subsequent accomplishments in higher education and her career in aerospace engineering.
