Morganna Giovanelli is currently working at GitHub Brasil as Líder de comunidade - GitHub Open Source Community São Paulo. She also holds the position of Tech Writer e Developer Relations at BotCity. In addition, she moderates the mentoria DevRel program at Abacatinhos.dev. She is also an active participant of the Alura Stars program at Alura and a co-founder, community coordinator, and podcaster at Feministech.

Previous Experience

Morganna has held various roles in the tech industry, most notably at C6 Bank, where she served as a DevRel for 9 months in 2022 and as a back-end developer from 2019 to 2022. Additionally, she worked at The Developer's Conference as a Coordenadora de trilha de evento - Trilha API in 2022 for 2 months. She has experience at BRQ as both a Junior and Pleno programmer from 2017 to 2019. Previously, she co-founded the Kotlinautas community, working as a Live Coder Streamer and Co-fundadora from 2021 to 2023.

Community Involvement

Since 2017, Morganna has been deeply involved in technology communities, co-founding the Feministech, CaquiCoders, and Kotlinautas groups. She has a keen interest in creating content, organizing events, moderating communities, and mentoring individuals with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion. Notably, she moderates the abacatinhos.dev mentorship program and participates in the podcast 'Mlkda da DeepWeb' where she discusses technology in a fun manner.

Educational Background

Morganna Giovanelli studied Análise e desenvolvimento de sistemas at Estácio and Fatec Mogi das Cruzes, where she achieved her Tecnólogo degree. She also studied Redes de Computadores at ETEC de Ferraz de Vasconcelos, earning her Técnico qualification in 2014.

Morganna received the Alura Star award in 2022 for her contributions to technology communities. She co-created the Feministech and Kotlinautas communities in 2021.
