During my first years starting Reboot, I was the Director of technology and the Technology consultant for over 28 of the 32 DOE school districts. I managed their SNA servers and conversions from Token Ring to Ethernet. I assisted all superintendents on their technology plans and Reboot provided breakfix and lab install support. I consulted with all schools on their technology purchased and purchasing approvals. As well as planning and deploying the entire email system for DOE. During that time, we became one of the first service providers for Apple education, specializing and consulting Apple on Xsan and Servers and Storage. For a number of years as a consultant, I was apple's lead Education CE on Xsan. We were then the Apple service providers for Enterprise and Retail. During that time we took over engineering roles for the North East and wrote all scopes for all North East apple engagements. I also provided all the best practice workflows for Xsan, HPC Windows integration and others. We assisted Apple in all aspects of Xsan to all 3 deptartments in the Media and Video space. My work was highlighted through a number of the Apple Profiles created on exclusive client engagements. After Apple discontinued Xserves and Xserve Raids, Reboot became the service provider for many other Server and storage vendors who mostly sell into M&E. We continued engagements for top 100 companies with SAN integrations and consulting services. Including a full dept of programmers and developers building apps internally for ourselves and clients.
