Elizabeth Geddeh currently serves as the County Wash Manager at Global Communities, a position she has held since 2017. Previous Experience at Global Communities
Elizabeth Geddeh has held multiple positions at Global Communities prior to her current role. She worked as a Community Led-Total Sanitation Manager for five months in 2013, followed by a year as a Rural Wash Program Manager from 2014 to 2015. She also served as a Senior Program Manager from 2015 to 2017. In these roles, she contributed to various sanitation and health initiatives, focusing on community engagement and program effectiveness.
Educational Background in Demography
Elizabeth Geddeh earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Demography from the University of Liberia, where she studied from 2006 to 2012. This educational background has equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary for her work in public health and sanitation. Additionally, she studied at the Tubman National Institute of Medical Arts (TIMA) from 1985 to 1987, further enhancing her expertise in health-related fields.
Involvement in Community-Led Total Sanitation
In her current position, Elizabeth Geddeh plays a key role in the implementation of Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) programs. She ensures that Government of Liberia staff involved in CLTS initiatives in PACS target counties are performing effectively and that their contributions are documented. She has also been actively engaged in the documentation process of CLTS implementation, which is essential for fostering community awareness and acceptance of sanitation practices.
