Early Career in Engineering
Ahmed's engineering career began with roles at various companies. In 2014, he worked for 7 months as a Paint Production Engineer at Ghabbour Auto's Prima Factory. Earlier, in 2013, he was an Account Manager at Sealed Air Diversey for 9 months. These roles helped him gain valuable experience in production and account management in the engineering sector. He also had brief traineeships at CB&I, Nassar Plastic Factories, The Coca-Cola Company, East Zeit Petroleum Company, Al Masaood OISS, and Shell Oil Company between 2008 and 2010, each providing insight into different facets of the industry.
Educational Background
Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum and Petrochemicals Engineering from Cairo University Faculty of Engineering, where he studied from 2006 to 2012. His educational experience provided him with a strong foundation in engineering principles and practices. Prior to that, he attended the Modern American School of Egypt from 2003 to 2006, majoring in engineering and completing his high school education.
Technical Leadership and Innovations
In his current and former roles, Ahmed has provided significant technical leadership, especially in multi-functional teams. He has led process validation, created cleaning, filling, and process instructions on PLM-SAP for product launches, and developed cost-effective packaging solutions by researching and evaluating materials and components. Moreover, he stays updated with packaging innovations and trends to leverage new technologies in product development, ensuring that SC Johnson products remain competitive and innovative. He also focuses on developing and updating packaging specifications and bills of materials.
