About Gera Rivkin
I build stories that help consumer goods get exposure and placed in stores internationally. My experience ranges from new products marketing, expanding distribution from Nordstrom to Walmart and producing private label product for Tier 1 brands and retailers. I’m a builder at heart, and have literally grown companies from the ground up. I grew 6 Pack Fitness to over 3000% over four years, landed on INC 500 twice (#181 and #81). Besides having a robust ecommerce platform to sell-out product, I placed the product in over 7,000 stores domestically and built international distribution. The Meal Prep Bag category was created by us and we are still market leaders. I build stories. I build businesses. I build strategies with tangible results. I’ve worked in everything from product development, marketing strategy and brand building. I’m passionate about and good at: Relationships - Building relationships with buyers at Tier One retailers and vendors comes natural. I make an authentic connection that resonates with people and builds trust and business. Business Development and Sales – I enjoy the challenge and the grind of landing an account. Even though my background has been mostly on the Marketing/Brand/Product Development side, the sales team would ask me to join the client meetings, make presentations and join the team at dinners. I’m a healthy competitor that makes deals happens. Go to market strategy – I looking at the “big picture” and dream big. I like to run an exercise in which I ask the team, “if money was no object what would we do to grow the company?” Seeing product or projects come to fruition after that is truly magical. Then I get those products into stores and customer’s hands. When I’m not connecting and strategizing, I can be found advising other start-ups.
