He initially joined RE:Lab s.r.l. as a UX Researcher in 2017 and worked for five months in the Reggio Emilia Area, Italy. Matteo also spent five months in 2017 as a UX Researcher at Università degli Studi di Padova in the Padova Area, Italy.
Education and Training
Matteo earned a Master’s degree in Cognitive Psychology from Università degli Studi di Padova, where he specialized in UX Cognitive Ergonomics from 2014 to 2016. He also completed his Bachelor's degree at the same institution between 2011 and 2014. He studied at Universidad Pablo de Olavide, de Sevilla as an Erasmus+ scholar in 2013. In 2016, he furthered his education with an Erasmus+ Traineeship at the University of Helsinki. Matteo continued his professional development through courses at The Interaction Design Foundation.
Key Projects and Skills
Matteo has designed on-board applications for prestigious automotive brands like Maserati and Alfa Romeo in Italy. He is one of the early adopters of UX Virtual Reality prototyping, driven by the immersive potential of VR technology. Currently, he is developing a VR application alongside an art project. He is proficient in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Unity, and Gravity Sketch, which he uses to bring innovative ideas to life.
