During her tenure, she improved policies and procedures for membership transactions and defined the registration process for conferences and events.

Heather Strelecki has a diverse educational background. She earned a Master of Science degree from Pratt Institute, studying from 2006 to 2008. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, achieved between 1993 and 1997. In 2017, she completed a Certificate in Business Perspectives for Creative Leaders at Yale School of Management. Additionally, she participated in the Community Arts Leadership Program and the Bloomberg Philanthropies Arts Advancement Initiative.

Heather Strelecki began her career as a Contributing Writer for Erie Times-News, where she worked from 2001 to 2003. This role allowed her to develop her writing and editorial skills. She also gained experience in public relations as a Public Relations Assistant at the Museum of Arts & Design from 2003 to 2004.

Involvement in Arts Organizations

Heather has been actively involved in various arts organizations. She served as a board member at Kentler International Drawing Space in Brooklyn and worked as a consultant for the organization in 2009. Additionally, she held positions as a Gallery Assistant and contributed to projects that highlight cultural history and design, such as I Heart NY and AIGA 100: A Century of Design.
