Wilson is responsible for establishing capital project budgets and schedules, as well as delivering monthly status reports. She plays a key role in managing complex funding strategies for the Atlanta BeltLine project, which includes various financial sources such as philanthropy, grants, and federal funding. Under her leadership, the organization oversees a trail construction program with a budget exceeding $400 million.
Previous Experience at Georgia Institute of Technology
Prior to her current role, Kimberley Wilson worked at the Georgia Institute of Technology for over six years in various capacities. She served as the Senior Project Manager for Capital Projects, Design & Construction from 2008 to 2014, followed by her role as Director of Capital Projects, Campus Services from 2014 to 2017. Most recently, she held the position of Associate Director of Construction Services from 2017 to 2019. During her tenure, she contributed to significant projects, including the restoration of the Georgia State Capitol and the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Kimberley Wilson holds a Master of Building Construction from the University of Florida. She also earned a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University. At Atlanta BeltLine, she led the design and construction of the largest infrastructure redevelopment program in Atlanta's history, which encompasses 33 miles of trail and 22 miles of light rail. Her project experience includes retail and mixed-use developments such as North Highland Steel, the Living Building at Georgia Tech, Gasket City Lofts, and the MARTA Lindberg transit-oriented development. Wilson's leadership has significantly impacted the development landscape in Atlanta.
