Eduardo Villalobos is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he has been enrolled from 2020 to 2024. He has also achieved certification in most of the on-campus machine shops, which equips him with hands-on experience in engineering practices. Prior to this, he completed his High School Diploma at Castle View High School from 2016 to 2020.

Professional Experience

Eduardo has gained valuable experience through various internships. He worked at Castle Rock Water Company as an Intern for four months in 2019. He also served as an Engineering Support Student at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2020 to 2022, where he supported engineering projects. Additionally, he was a Teaching Assistant for four months in 2021, further enhancing his understanding of engineering concepts.

Contributions to Engineering Projects

During his time at the University of Colorado Boulder, Eduardo led the design and construction of a wooden cockpit structure for the Overture aircraft. This project provided engineers with a precise model for testing and iterating flight hardware. He also designed over 90 individual parts for the Ironbird structure, contributing to a main structure that spans more than 200 feet in length and 100 feet wide.

Involvement in Student Organizations

Eduardo played an important role in the SRL club at the University of Colorado Boulder. His involvement in this student organization allowed him to engage with peers who share similar interests in aerospace engineering and to participate in collaborative projects that enhance his educational experience.
