About Nygel Simms
Nygel is an accomplished leader, speaker, strategist, and visionary with a talent for developing programs, initiatives, and best practices to address difficult challenges faced by organizations, individuals, and communities. He credits his family and friends for teaching him the importance of valuing each person as an "imago dei." Nygel started his career in management at a McDonald's in Niceville, Florida while studying psychology and political science. During his college studies, he was offered the chance to work as a field organizer for the 44th President of the United States' re-election campaign. This experience included attending the inauguration, inaugural ball, and visiting the White House. In 2013, he moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana where he became involved in ministry as a volunteer for First Assembly of God and worked to grow the church's young adult ministry. He also started volunteering for Youth for Christ (YFC) and eventually became a Local, Regional, and National YFC City Life Director, working to support young people in under-resourced communities. Aside from his ministry work, Nygel has served on several boards and committees, including Foellinger Foundation Great Kids Make Great Communities, the YMCA Renaissance, City of Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne Community Schools, and Allen County Juvenile Justice Center. Currently, he is the senior coordinator of United Front Christian Faith and the founder and CEO of NLS Consulting. Throughout his career, Nygel has been focused on engaging, equipping, and empowering leaders to make a lasting impact. He has earned a reputation as an exceptional leader in the City of Fort Wayne, IN and beyond.
