Work at Centre for Development of Telematics
Anoop Gupta has been serving as the Team Leader IT/Cloud Transformation Architect at the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) since 2017. In this role, he leads initiatives focused on cloud transformation and IT solutions. He previously held the position of Senior Research Engineer at C-DOT from 2009 to 2017, where he contributed to various research and development projects. His experience at C-DOT spans over eight years, during which he gained extensive knowledge in telecommunications and cloud technologies.

In this capacity, he leads the deployment of Kubernetes traffic clusters for 5G Core network functions, including AMF, SMF, UPF, PCF, NRF, UDM, and NSSF. His role involves engaging in project management activities, such as statement of work (SOW), estimation, monitoring progress, and governance, as well as pre-sales interactions with Tier-1 customers.

Anoop Gupta holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, where he studied from 2004 to 2009. He further advanced his education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Technology Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, from 2013 to 2016. His educational background provides a strong foundation for his expertise in IT and cloud transformation, particularly in the telecommunications sector.
Achievements in Telecommunications
Anoop Gupta has successfully managed the delivery of Cloud Container Distribution for 5G Core Standalone in VMo2, marking a significant commercial milestone by handing over a site to the customer. He has collaborated with major telecom operators, including VMo2 UK, Orange Morocco, and Optus Australia, to integrate Cloud Native technologies into their 5G Core systems. Additionally, he has developed a Kubernetes ecosystem that incorporates LDAP, Logger, Prometheus, and SNMP integration on top of Vanilla Kubernetes.
Training and Development Initiatives
In his current roles, Anoop Gupta conducts technology and product training sessions at both team and Service Delivery Unit (SDU) levels. These training sessions are designed to enhance the competence of team members and ensure that they are well-versed in the latest technologies and methodologies related to cloud transformation and telecommunications.
