Work at Chicago Botanic Garden
Caitlin Ryan has been serving as a Wildlife Biologist Intern at the Chicago Botanic Garden since 2017. In this role, she engages in various wildlife management and conservation activities. Previous Experience at Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge
Caitlin Ryan worked at Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge as a Biology and Plant Propagation Intern for three months in 2017. During this time, she assessed habitats for sage grouse using Habitat Assessment Frameworks (HAF) protocols. Additionally, she collaborated with Wyoming Game and Fish on grazing assessments for mule deer. Prior to this, she served as an Environmental Education Intern at the same refuge from 2016 to 2017, where she contributed to educational programs and initiatives.

Caitlin Ryan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Drake University, completing her studies from 2012 to 2016.
