Online Coding Courses
CodeX Academy offers 100% online coding courses designed to accommodate evening and weekend schedules. The academy's programs range from Full Stack Developer to Software Development Engineer (SDE) and Web Development. Specializing in both frontend and backend training, students can complete their courses in months, not years. The Full Stack Developer program lasts 17 weeks, with classes held Monday to Thursday from 6:30pm CST to 9:30pm CST and on Saturday from 9:00am CST to 6:00pm CST.
Financial Aid and Deferred Payment Options
CodeX Academy provides financial aid options for eligible students, including the ability to defer payments for up to 12 months. The SDE program's tuition costs $12,500, while the Web Development program costs $9,000, both offering financial aid. This allows students the flexibility to receive education in software development without the immediate financial burden.
Partnerships and Dual Credits
CodeX Academy partners with Nashville State Community College (NSCC) to offer dual credit for completed programs. This collaboration helps students gain additional credentials while studying coding and software development. The academy also partners with various organizations to enhance learning opportunities and provide a broader educational experience.
Support and Mentoring
Students at CodeX Academy receive robust support through live instruction, mentoring, and one-on-one tutoring. The academy provides on-demand mentors and tutors, a community code review system, and tools to help find answers. Three levels of support ensure that students master essential skills before progressing, aided by work readiness training and resume and portfolio feedback.
Career Placement and Internship Opportunities
Upon program completion, CodeX Academy automatically enrolls students in placement services and provides access to Varsity, a career accelerator. The academy also offers internship opportunities, preparing students for entering the workforce with practical experience. Access to SourceCode, a software development company, further supports career readiness and job placement.
