Previous Experience in Human Resources
Before joining d.light, Angela Nyoike held several HR positions across various organizations. She worked at UAP OLD MUTUAL GROUP as Acting HR Services Manager for East Africa for seven months in 2016-2017. Nyoike also served as Senior HR Business Partner at Longhorn Publishers from 2017 to 2020, and as HR Business Partner at BAT from 2020 to 2021. Earlier in her career, she worked at AMREF as an HR Assistant and held multiple roles at UAP, including HR Officer and Senior HR Services Officer.
Education and Expertise
Angela Nyoike holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategic Management from Kenya Methodist University, which she completed from 2011 to 2014. She also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management from the same institution between 2009 and 2011. Additionally, Nyoike has a Diploma and a Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Human Resource Management in Kenya, completed in 2006-2007 and 2007-2008, respectively.
