Wayne studied Interactive Design at Liverpool John Moores University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from 2010 to 2013. He also completed studies in Graphic Design at Stockport College, achieving an HNC from 2006 to 2008, and a National Diploma (ND) in Graphic Design at Tameside College of Technology from 1992 to 1994. Earlier in his education, he studied Computer Programming at MANCAT, earning a City & Guilds qualification in 2001.

Wayne has a diverse background in design, having worked as a Graphic Designer at Broadway Malyan from 2005 to 2009.
