Work at Evidence Action
Currently, Criss Kaz serves as the Lead Officer for Program Implementation at Evidence Action, a position held since 2018. In this role, he leads teams in implementing dispenser activities, focusing on training, coaching, and mentorship. He coordinates with area coordinators to manage a team of 30 Field Officers, facilitating community sensitization and education meetings. His previous tenure at Evidence Action lasted from 2015 to 2017, where he supported field teams in developing efficient and cost-effective weekly work plans for dispenser implementation.
Education and Expertise
Criss Kaz has a solid educational background. He studied at Makerere University from 2001 to 2005, where he earned a degree in Social Administration and Gender, focusing on social sciences. Prior to that, he attended St. Leo's College Kyegobe in Uganda from 1998 to 2000, achieving an Advanced Certificate in Education with studies in History, Economics, and Divinity.
Background in Water Dispenser Implementation
Criss Kaz has extensive experience in water dispenser implementation. He previously worked at Water Dispensers for Filtered Drinking Awesome Water Filters as a Chlorine Delivery and Maintenance Associate from 2014 to 2015. He managed the installation of 5,666 chlorine dispensers across Eastern Uganda, showcasing his commitment to improving access to safe drinking water.
Previous Work Experience
Before his current role, Criss Kaz held various positions that contributed to his expertise. He worked as an Operations Manager at Voitech International from 2010 to 2012 and as a Client Relations Personnel at Warid Telecom Uganda from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, he served as a Research Assistant at DIW Berlin for one month in 2012, and he has been a Field Associate at Innovations for Poverty Action since 2013.
