About Antonella Golia
Antonella Rocco Golia is the founder of Exceeding Motherhood, a community for women who opted out of successful careers as a result of motherhood. Exceeding Motherhood was a natural extension of Antonella’s blog Confused Executive Mom, which she launched in 2019. Antonella is a business and community leader with extensive experience in both the private and public sectors. During her career in consumer insights, Antonella held positions at The NPD Group, Nielsen, and Paradigm Sample. As a director in product development, account management, and operations, she worked with many Fortune 500 and industry leading companies, including L’Oreal, Estee Lauder, Chanel, Levi’s, Nike, adidas, Disney, Warner Brothers, Marriott, and RJR Reynolds. More recently, Antonella worked in public education, serving in Family and Community engagement roles at two New York City Department of Education public schools, where she collaborated with school and district administrators, parents, community organizations and elected officials. She has also been a parent leader, including her current positions as PTA President and member of the School Leadership Team at I.S. 25 Adrien Block School, where she raises money, organizes events, and works with the administration, teachers, and staff on a variety of academic and social emotional initiatives. In her spare time, Antonella enjoys spending time with her children, exploring cities both near and far, and following several international soccer leagues and championships.
