About Madison Luker
I am a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Candidate with experience in translational research, startup development, and leadership in One Health. I am dedicated to the human-animal bond. My academic and professional experiences have prepared me well in analytic thinking and writing, interpersonal communication, public speaking, and academic event planning. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree focused in Biological Sciences from Georgia Institute of Technology. My undergraduate years were spent working with a large variety of animals, in medical facilities and researching in labs. These experiences ultimately led to my interest in comparative oncology. I envision utilizing my training towards developing novel therapies to improve cancer treatment options for both dogs and humans. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga and rock climbing with friends, horseback riding, rocking out to new musicals, and exploring hiking trails with my Labrador Ellie.
