Additionally, Travis spent eight years in the United States Air Force as a Personnel Officer and Hazmat Inspector, a role that gave him substantial experience in hazardous materials management.

Travis holds a Master's degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide, which he completed from 2010 to 2015. He also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in the same field from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he studied from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, he obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Transportation/Mobility Management from the Community College of the Air Force between 2004 and 2007.

Significant Contributions at Flexport

Travis created Flexport's global Dangerous Goods program from scratch, including developing policies and SOPs to mitigate risks in a regulated market. He designed training materials, earning IATA's endorsement for Flexport to become an IATA Accredited Dangerous Goods Training School.
