Alana Lerer has held various positions in public health and policy. Public Policy and Advocacy Initiatives
Alana Lerer advises on public policy for a CDC-funded program aimed at improving the interoperability of U.S. immunization information systems and electronic health records. She also equips a community of 100 HIMSS members to advocate at the state and provincial levels. Her main work portfolio includes state, provincial, and local policy; public health; interoperability; connected health/telehealth; cybersecurity; and data privacy.
