Simon Ellis has held multiple positions at ICIS since he joined the organization. He currently serves as the Head of Hydrogen Analytics, a role he has occupied since 2021. Prior to this, he worked as the Head of Global Gas Analytics from 2019 to 2021. His earlier roles at ICIS include Lead LNG Analyst from 2011 to 2018 and Editor for Global LNG Markets from 2008 to 2011. He began his career at ICIS as a Reporter for a brief period in 2007. In his current role, he leads the development of analytical products that focus on the decarbonisation of gas markets and oversees the ICIS LNG Edge platform.

Simon Ellis has an extensive educational background in energy systems, finance, economics, and history.
