INDEED: I am a Software Engineer at Indeed, developing products to help people get jobs. I'm working on the Resume Outreach (Employer facing) team to develop products for recruiters to contact job seekers. TCH: Previously, I worked as a Software Engineer at The Clearing House (TCH), where we developed products to handle payments between banks. I worked on the CHIPS product- the world’s largest private-sector USD clearing system that clears and settles $2 trillion in domestic/international payments daily. CRICSCORE: One vital thing I can bring to a team is my ability to respond to problems by solving them rather than reacting to them. For example, one day, I found that my cricket team used pen/paper to score a friendly match. I found a problem here due to the need for more technology for a simple cricket scoring app for friendly matches. I was self-motivated and inspired to bridge the gap between pen/paper and technology. I worked hard single-handedly during my free time to develop CricScore – the most highly reviewed cricket-scoring mobile app in the App Store. I think a lot from the users’ perspective whenever I design a product. Such thinking capabilities led me to develop CricScore with many innovative features that stand out from the rest of the cricket scoring apps, ultimately providing the best user experience. Such unique features include: • Private PIN for each team to avoid random teams playing against your team. • Anonymous sign-in and link your email address later. • A single-click button feature to add all the team members at once, thereby saving time during a team’s formation. We cannot create time, but we can save time. Time = Money. The beauty of technology is that it has saved us plenty of time by automating most of the time-consuming physical ways of living. For example, we save valuable time by booking a flight ticket at home rather than going to the airport; we buy some household items online rather than in a physical store. We can utilize that saved time wisely to focus on our other interests. My vision is to change the world we perceive today through modern technologies and bring comfort and convenience to people.
