Previous Experience at Internet Society
Fiumarelli has held multiple roles at the Internet Society. Additionally, he served as a mentor in the IGF Youth Ambassadors Program for four months in 2020. He also earned a Licenciatura en Comunicación in Technological Journalism from Facultad de Información y Comunicación UDELAR between 2015 and 2019. His technical education includes a degree in Computer Engineering from Facultad de Ingenieria - Universidad de la República, completed from 2008 to 2019, and a certification as a Visual .NET Programmer. Additionally, he possesses certifications in ScrumMaster and ScrumDeveloper from kleer.la.

Fiumarelli specializes in cryptography, information security, and open data. He has advanced knowledge in UNIX/Linux operating systems and has experience with machine learning and polynomial optimization for problem-solving.
