Jewish Community Free Clinic

The JCFC is a completely free medical clinic located in Sonoma County, founded in 2001 with the expressed purpose of providing completely free medical care and social services to the uninsured. The JCFC offers weekly clinics all staffed by volunteers. Year after year, more than 100 volunteers donate more than $600,000 in free services by working at the JCFC. Medical practitioners, nurses, social workers and support staff come together to work as an integrated team during each clinic. Volunteers donate their services so that no one in our community is left without a medical provider when in need of immediate quality care. By providing completely free care, the JCFC continues to save the community more than an estimated million dollars each year in local emergency room costs. The value of our services to each person seeking care is beyond what can be expressed in words.In order to address critical unmet needs in our community, we offer the following weekly clinics:• Monday Morning Family Practice Clinic staffed by a full team of medical and support staff.• Monday Evenings Family Medicine Clinic, staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers.• Tuesday Afternoon Well Child Clinic and Immunization Clinic, where immunizations are administered and youngsters 0-19 are seen for minor illnesses. Adults are also seen and work physicals are given to help people re-enter the work force or go back to school.• Wednesday Women’s Health and Physicals Clinic, staffed by the Sonoma State University FNP students and their preceptor, offers women’s health services as well as work and school physicals to adults and children. • Thursday Evenings Family Practice Clinic, our busiest Family Medicine Clinic each week.• Friday Mornings Acupuncture Clinic, offering free alternative medicine services to the underserved.The JCFC is also currently expanding services to include mental health and free therapy for those in need.
