Kingdom Kids is a collective of survivors, advocates, educators, and experts. We demystify and destigmatize cults, abuse and healing through storytelling, education, and advocacy. Founded by Laura Davis who was born and raised as a "kingdom kid" in a bible-based cult and left when she was 16. What was always a utopia quickly became a nightmare at age 12 when she, her family and friends experienced abuse and neglect. Since then she’s spent much of her life sifting through the trauma, figuring out how to be an adult in the real world, and supporting people in their recovery as they become stronger in their broken places. She is currently pursuing a degree in organizational psychology and is passionate about cultivating functional and healthy communities.
