About Ralph Kartzman

I couldn't help getting addicted to golf at an early age growing up in Springfield NJ. Any opportunity to practice hitting a golf ball on the athletic fields in my town or play at one of the local public courses with my buddies from the neighborhood was a great day. It didn't hurt that Baltusrol was our high school home course for the golf team. The bonus for me came from the lifelong bonds I have forged and nourished over my entire lifespan from this game I truly love. After earning a B.A. at Clark University in Worcester Massachusetts, I heard the call of Wall Street and was fascinated with the markets. After many years of being a successful broker , it was time to evolve. So I turned to the world of hedge fund trading/portfolio management. Always intellectually stimulating, rewarding and rich with more personal/professional relationships. Challenged by living in NYC and no easy access to quality golf practice facilities , I thought building a lux indoor club on Fifth Ave right next to Rockefeller center seemed to tick a lot of the boxes for me (lol) and all my former colleagues from the “Street”. I was certain many other like minded people in various industries would be excited as well. So, along with a business partner, Konnectgolf was built from scratch and opened February 2018. We are now nearly 500 strong in memberships. We offer first class lessons and golf specific physical training in an 8 bay facility utilizing Trackman and PuttView technology and equipped with both PXG and Taylormade clubs which we can custom fit in 30-60 minutes. Event hosting and small team gathering is also a big part of our business. All of your golf needs are taken care of, convenient to work/home on your time schedule. I was always motivated to make “people connections” and both my love of golf and my former career helped me to do that, it’s all come together under the Konnect umbrella which so beautifully serves my passions. I’m one of the lucky ones , I turned my passion into a labor of love.
