He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Multiphase Process Equipment Design from the Institute of Chemical Technology from 2007 to 2011. His expertise includes designing anaerobic and aerobic bioreactor systems, as well as algal bioreactors.

He then served as a Research Scientist at Louisiana State University from 2014 to 2017. Following that, he held a position as a Research Scientist at the Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai from 2017 to 2018. He also worked as a Process Engineer at GHD in Newcastle, Australia, from 2018 to 2019.
