Alisa R. Parker has been serving as the Lead Tech Editor and Document Manager for the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program at LMI since 2018. Her responsibilities include providing guidance and oversight to two Junior Technical Editors, ensuring that all documentation meets high standards of quality and compliance.
Previous Experience
Before joining LMI, Alisa Parker worked at Grant Thornton LLP as a Senior Business Analyst and Agile Tech Writer for the CBP from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, she was employed at QinetiQ North America as a Senior Technical Writer for the CBP from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, she served as a Principal Technical Writer/Editor at JPI from 2017 to 2018, also within the CBP framework. This diverse experience has equipped her with extensive knowledge in technical writing and documentation management.

Alisa Parker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland. Her educational background provides a strong foundation for her work in technical writing and editing. She possesses expertise in managing documentation processes, ensuring compliance with DHS-102-001, and tracking acquisition lifecycle documentation to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
