Njeri Gikami has held the position of Deputy Head of Sales at M-KOPA since 2016. Over her tenure of eight years, she has been instrumental in building a sales organization from the ground up, scaling it to over 5,000 direct sales agents. Gikami has designed and executed innovative sales and marketing strategies, leading the launch of new products, channels, and markets. Her extensive experience at M-KOPA includes working across all areas of the employee lifecycle within the sales organization, focusing on hiring, training, and continued learning.
Current Role at Signify
Since 2022, Njeri Gikami has been working at Signify in a Sales Leadership role. She leads the solar business growth in Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on generating new business areas and opportunities. Gikami cooperates with external partners to develop new sales channels, contributing to the expansion of Signify's solar initiatives in the region.

Before her current roles, Njeri Gikami worked as a Customer Experience Manager at Orange Telkom (K) from 2008 to 2010. She also served in a Retail Experience/Sales position at Safaricom from 2005 to 2008. These roles provided her with foundational experience in customer engagement and sales strategies.
