Alexander is a UK and US corporate lawyer, who advises businesses on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt finance including early-stage investment by SAFEs, advance subscription agreements (ASAs) and other convertibles. Alexander has assisted angel syndicates, VCTs and high net worth investors with advice on substantial investment into early-stage companies. Alexander supports businesses from start-up, through investment and exit. He also regularly advises on share incentive schemes for early stage companies (EMI and unapproved options and growth shares). Alexander has assisted a number of UK clients expand or set up in the US including by "Delaware flip". Alexander was the winner of the Law Society of Scotland Rising Star Award at the Scottish Legal Awards 2014.
