About Alexis Wolfer
I am an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company where I lead our North American Beauty Practice and advise consumer clients on growth, marketing, and sales topics. My areas of expertise include: data-driven growth strategy and agile marketing for women's consumer brands and retailers, particularly in the beauty, apparel, and food sectors. Prior to joining McKinsey & Company, I founded the award-winning women’s lifestyle website TheBeautyBean.com, launched the social media-powered Makeup Free Mondays movement, advised early stage startups (e.g., Porter + Sail, Ideal Woman), and authored two books. I was also regularly seen on-air on ABC, CBS, E!, Fox, NBC, The Today Show, and more.
