About Daniel Magaway
I am a first-year Computer Science student at Michigan State University for the fall of 2020. I have worked two jobs over the past four years in high school. I worked for BC Maintenance from June 2017 to January 2018 as a Maintenance Apprentice, where I learned how to operate heavy machinery, such as lawnmowers, hydraulic lifts, tractors, and bobcats, as well as perform other maintenance tasks. I operated other maintenance equipment including chainsaws, stump grinders, weed whackers, and blowers. I also assisted in sprinkler system repairs. I left BC Maintenance when the business was closed in January of 2018. From March 2018 to March 2020, I worked at Lansing Catholic High School as a Maintenance Assistant and performed similar tasks. Additionally, I was tasked with cleaning classrooms every week, as well as assisting in the maintenance of the sports fields and school grounds. I am a hard worker who is very detail oriented and organized. I strive to complete every task to the best of my ability. I have good communication skills and know how to work well with others. I also have good technology skills and am proficient with Microsoft Office. I am willing to learn and will do my best to be the best worker possible. My goal will always be to work as hard as possible and do the best in everything I do.
