Taylor Brown has an extensive professional basketball career, having played for various teams internationally. He was a Professional Basketball Player for FIBA in multiple locations, including a four-month stint in Santiago, Dominican Republic in 2021 and two months in Perth, Australia in 2019. He also played in Luxembourg from 2017 to 2019 and spent seven months with Wetterbygden Basketball in Sweden in 2021.
Education and Academic Background
Taylor Brown studied at George Mason University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management from 2012 to 2015. He also attended Georgetown University for one year, focusing on Marketing. His foundational education was completed at Bishop McNamara High School, where he studied Marketing from 2008 to 2011.
Coaching Experience
In addition to his current role, Taylor Brown has held several coaching positions. He was the Associate Head Girl’s Basketball Coach at Charles Herbert Flowers High School in Prince George's County from 2019 to 2020. He also worked as an Assistant Basketball Coach at Breakthrough Basketball in 2018 and served as a Youth Basketball Camp Coach for Nike from 2017 to 2018.
Achievements and Recognition
Taylor Brown has received several accolades throughout his career. He was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the Morocco Throne Cup Championship, recognizing his exceptional performance. In 2020, he was honored with the Forty Under 40 award for Prince George’s County, highlighting his contributions to the community. Additionally, he was nominated as Artist of the Year in the Sweden Basketball League in 2022.
