About Liz L.
I'm a tech investor with a track record of identifying untapped value. I'm passionate about expanding diversity among LPs and supporting the next generation of emerging managers. I've invested in VCs at Morgan Stanley, founded an award-winning anti-harassment nonprofit at OnlineSOS, and led trust & safety initiatives for key products at Twitter. My work has cited by the New York Times, NBC, ABC, CNN, Forbes, Adweek, the Chronicle of Philanthropy, among other outlets. I’m currently investing and advising VCs and startups that are creating exceptional products through responsible innovation. I love working with people to scale their companies and themselves in smart, sustainable ways --- and grow into category leaders. Over the last 14 years, as an investor, operator, and entrepreneur, I’ve led high-impact, high-visibility strategic projects and cross-functional teams. My work addressed some of the world’s biggest problems (such as election integrity, human rights violations, social media harms, content moderation, online abuse, mental health, data management, and climate change). The work largely remains confidential. I’ve done my work effectively by flying under the radar. But now, more than ever, as a woman of color and Asian American investor and founder, I know representation matters. You may not have heard of me, but I have likely worked on an initiative that impacted your life in small or large ways. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have learned from some of the best founders, operators, investors, and philanthropists in the industry. I'm excited to continue learning and growing together. I am committed to creating an inclusive, thriving world of responsible innovation and sustainable systems. I'm doing so now with capital.
