I am an independent specialist delivering commercially orientated business leadership and HR services, working closely with a small number of UK and international clients to help them build strong leadership capability and a high performing workforce with the profile needed for future success. The work includes: Strategy Development - Working with leadership teams to clarify their strategy and take it through to implementation and results. Talent management - The assessment, selection, development, reward, retention, promotion and outplacement of senior teams; Employee communications - engagement programmes, normally at a time of change or threat to maximise employee engagement and positive spirit. Change management - Designing and driving the practical people changes arising from acquisitions, TUPE transfers, restructuring, relocation and major changes in terms and conditions (e.g. Pensions) in unionised and non-unionised environments. Dispute resolution - mediation and conciliation in relation to individuals, employee representative groups and trade unions. I also a Visiting Professor and member of the Advisory Board of Portsmouth University Business School.
