Current Role at Northvolt
Andrew Lippett serves as the Head of Network Engineering at Northvolt since 2022. In this role, he is responsible for managing a multimillion-dollar CAPEX budget aimed at expanding Northvolt's network infrastructure. He plays a key role in enabling a cultural shift towards enterprise operational thinking and cross-functional teams within the organization. Lippett also contributes to defining and driving new strategies as part of the IT network leadership team.
Previous Experience at Ericsson
Lippett has extensive experience at Ericsson, where he held various positions over a span of several years. He worked as a Senior Services Engineer from 2005 to 2010, and later as a Backbone Transmission Design Engineer from 2010 to 2012. He also served as Test Integration Manager from 2013 to 2014, and as Head of Solution Sales & Delivery Sweden from 2016 to 2018. His final roles at Ericsson included Head of Global Infrastructure and Tools ASIC&FPGA from 2019 to 2022 and Manager ASIC and FPGA IP Design 2 for one year.
Education and Qualifications
Andrew Lippett studied at the University of Wales, Cardiff, where he earned a Higher National Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering from 1996 to 1998. He also attended Brunel College of Technology, obtaining a National Diploma in the same field from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, he completed his GCSEs at Sir Bernard Lovell School in Bristol.
