His most recent position before NuRAN was at Nutaq, where he was the Hardware Technical Leader - Electronics from 2012 to 2020. This background provided him with a solid foundation in electronic design and development.

David Lacasse studied at École de technologie supérieure, where he earned a Baccalauréat in Génie Électrique from 2003 to 2006 and a Maîtrise in the same field from 2007 to 2008. He also completed a DEC en Technologie des Systèmes Ordinés at Cegep Limoilou. His academic background, combined with practical experience, has equipped him with expertise in hardware design, electronic board performance, and design practices.
