My internship at HPE Nimble Storage provided me a great understanding of messaging queues and brokers and how to implement a simple and light-weight messaging proxy architecture using NATS and Redis. It also gave me necessary exposure to design scalable and secure architectures which can be deployed and used in the real-world communication scenario. My coursework at Stony Brook University included courses focused in the Systems and Data Science domain with the purpose of achieving domain knowledge about the fields and help me decide where my interests lie before stepping into the professional work life.
