Prior to her current position, Amy Zhou served as the Lead UX Designer at Telemed MD for nine months in 2021. Before transitioning into UX design, Amy Zhou worked as an Experiential Marketing Account Manager at Tigris Events from 2015 to 2018. In this capacity, she planned and executed experiential events for notable clients such as Citi, LCBO, and Starbucks. Her earlier experience includes a role as a Constituency Assistant Intern at the Toronto District School Board in 2011 and a Science Teacher for four months in 2015.
Creative Projects and Interests
Amy Zhou has a passion for creating engaging user experiences, both digitally and in real life. She is known for her innovative projects, including the creation of a 'dad joke party dress' for Halloween in 2014, which marked her first successful interaction design project. She enjoys discussing design and user experience, often engaging in virtual bubble tea chats with peers.
