In 2014, he was the Director of Information Security - Technology Strategy & Architecture at BMO Harris Bank for six months. He also worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer specializing in Information Security at McDermott Will and Emery from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, Randy has a diverse background in information security from his time at Calamos Investments, where he progressed from a Data Security Specialist to a Manager in Information Security between 2003 and 2010.

Randy Armknecht has a solid educational foundation in technology and security. He earned a Master's degree in Computer Security from DePaul University, which he attended from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering Technology at DeVry University in Addison from 2003 to 2006. Randy's early educational journey began at Bolingbrook High School, where he studied from 1999 to 2003.
