Javier López Yravedra serves as a Project Manager for the EMEA region at RetailNext since 2018. He operates remotely from the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role, he is responsible for warehouse management utilizing Oracle NetSuite. His work involves managing and identifying inventory needs for various hardware components, including cameras, sensors, servers, and network equipment, across both small and large-scale projects.

Previous Experience at Creactives

Before joining RetailNext, Javier worked at Creactives as a Project Manager for Spain and Portugal from 2016 to 2018. His tenure was based in Verona, Veneto, Italy, where he contributed to project management initiatives in a hybrid work environment. This role followed his experience at West IT Solutions as a Technical Project Manager from 2013 to 2016 in Delft Area, Netherlands.

Educational Background

Javier holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Ingeniero en Informática from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where he studied from 2000 to 2005. He also obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Ingénieur en Télécommunication from ENSEIRB-MATMECA, completing his studies there from 2005 to 2007. His educational background provides a strong foundation for his technical and project management skills.

Language Proficiency

Javier has high-level proficiency in Portuguese, certified by Celpe Bras in 2011. He also achieved intermediate proficiency in German, certified by Zertifikat Deutsch B1 in the same year. Additionally, he gained proficiency in Dutch in 2015 and Italian in 2016, showcasing his ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages.

Entrepreneurial Ventures

In addition to his corporate roles, Javier founded a photography collective that supports Spanish and Latin American musicians and festivals. He also worked independently as a freelance consultant in South America, where he combined his skills in entrepreneurship, project management, technical writing, and development for local NGOs and government IT projects.
