He also represented venture capital firms in investments in companies in a variety of industries.After Fenwick, Rich moved to his birth town San Diego, California. There, he joined Gunderson Dettmer and helped startups with corporate partnering, technology protection, privacy compliance, and licensing and commercialization of IP. He also represented startup investors and acquirers on IP issues relating to venture financings and M&A.Rich launched Sapien Esq. so he can double down on his passion of working with tech startups and investors.
