He served as the Education & Training Manager from 2017 to 2019, and as Program Quality Manager from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, he worked as Program Manager for the National High School Conservation Crews from 2012 to 2014, and as Program Coordinator for Alternative Spring Break in 2012. His early involvement with SCA includes roles as a member of the Desert Restoration Corps and Trail Corps in 2010, and as a Project Leader for Wetland Restoration and Native Plant Corps from 2011 to 2012.
Education and Academic Background
Adam C. Brown earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from Eastern Mennonite University, where he studied from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, he attended James Madison University from 2001 to 2004, focusing on Psychology and Geology. He completed his secondary education at Kingsway Regional High School from 1997 to 2001. His academic background provides a solid foundation for his work in environmental education and program development.
Work Experience Outside of Student Conservation Association
In addition to his extensive experience at the Student Conservation Association, Adam C. Brown worked as Event Staff at Wagonhouse Winery for eight months in 2016. His early career also included an internship in Forest Inventory & Monitoring and Invasive Plant Management at Shenandoah National Park in 2007. These roles have contributed to his understanding of event management and environmental conservation.

Adam C. Brown is a member of the National Program Leadership Team at the Student Conservation Association.
