About Kristen Cooper
With over 9 years of experience as the CEO and Founder of The Startup Ladies, I am on a mission to increase the number of women starting up scalable businesses and help them secure investment to grow. The Startup Ladies is a professional membership organization that identifies, educates, connects, and increases investment in women entrepreneurs across various industries and stages. We believe that diversity and inclusion are competitive advantages, so all genders are welcome to participate and become members. As a startup leader, I leverage my background in building technology and raising money to help our entrepreneur, investor, and corporate members achieve their goals. I also write a column for the Indianapolis Business Journal, where I share my experience and insights on startups, tech, women in business, and LGBTQ+ issues. I am always eager to meet with individuals who have the financial capacity and want to learn how to invest in women-owned startups making a social impact.
