Aris Zakinthinos has an extensive educational background in computer science. He earned a Bachelor of Mathematics (BMath) from the University of Waterloo from 1987 to 1992. He continued his studies at the University of Toronto, obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from 1992 to 1993, followed by a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from 1992 to 1996. He also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Computer Science at the University of Cambridge from 1996 to 1997.
