History
Trinity Church Wall Street was founded in 1696 and plays a significant role in the history of New York City. The present church building, designed by Richard Upjohn in the 19th-century Gothic Revival style, was consecrated in 1846. St. Paul's Chapel, closely associated with Trinity Church, supported the NYC community following the 9/11 attacks. The churchyard is notable for its historic gravesites, including that of Alexander Hamilton.
