About Ekene Ojukwu
I am a physician interested in issues of health, social justice, infrastructure and development both on the local levels and the global levels. I hope to combine my love of taking care of people with skills in program development, strategic planning, and advocacy toward an end of making social change for marginalized communities and nations. I am interested in innovative health care delivery models, social investment strategies, and on the ground, grassroots interventions as ways to mobilize the current economic and political system toward serving those in need. I am passionate about exploring ways of increasing the voice and power of communities of color, in asserting their presence in high-level decision-making. I am committed to the harmonious well-being of all people.
